Suggestions for New Features

The suggestions of new functionalities coming from our clients, partners or BIMachine’s collaborators are sent by the support team to the BIMachine’s suggestions committee. This committee, formed by consultants, developers, support agents and customer success analysts, will analyze the functionalities suggested by the clients and also by BIMachine’s collaborators and will decide whether to approve, send to vote or reject the new functionalities proposed.
The suggestions of new functionalities suggested by our clients, partners or BIMachine’s collaborators are forwarded by the support team to BIMachine’s suggestions committee. This committee, formed by consultants, developers, support agents and customer success analysts, will analyze the suggested functionalities and decide if it will be approved, sent to a vote or rejected.

Acceptance criteria and referrals

The suggestions committee analyzes the suggested new functionalities as to their relevance and applicability. The conclusion of this analysis results in four possible decisions and their respective follow-ups:
  • YES (Approved)
The suggestion is approved if it is considered a good addition to the platform and of relevant importance to all the platform users. It’s up to the support team to inform the client of the approval of the suggested functionality, without defining implementation dates, because these depend on the complexity of the functionalities, implementation, validation and later disclosure of the functionalities through release notes and BIMachine news.
  • ALREADY
It occurs when more analysis is needed and even a better elaboration and/or complementation with other suggestions that result in a more comprehensive functionality. It also becomes necessary to investigate the technical possibilities or the degree of convenience for other customers.
The suggestions in this case are put on hold, associated with other similar suggestions or even finalized. The author of this suggestion is duly informed about the process and forwarding of the suggestion.
  • NO (Rejected)
This occurs if a suggestion is not in accordance with the existing or already planned functionality or if it is only relevant for a limited amount of customers. Also suggestions which are part of a larger project of implementation and elaboration of new functionality and/or improvements can be considered "rejected".
Rejecting a suggestion does not necessarily mean that it cannot be implemented in the future. BIMachine encourages all its clients and collaborators to give their suggestions when it is possible to present new elements that may be decisive for its acceptance and that above all represent a considerable improvement to our platform and for the benefit of all. 
The author of the suggestion is informed of the reasons for rejection of the suggested functionality.
  • FORWARDING TO VOTE
These are suggestions that are possible to be implemented but that will be forwarded to a vote of the clients and BIMachine collaborators. This voting has the purpose of facilitating the engagement of all BIMachine’s clients in the implementation of new functionalities and improvements of our platform.
The author of the suggestion is duly informed about the forwarding for voting as well as the final result.
