How do I set up sequential load schedules?

What is a sequential schedule?

Sequential load schedules are data load processes that are programmed to take place shortly after the completion of a previous load on a configured structure. This means that you can configure a load to take place only after a previous load has been completed, creating a dependency between the two.

How does it work?

When you set up a sequential load schedule, you define that a specific load will only run after another load has been completed. This ensures that the data is loaded in the correct order, respecting the dependency logic between the structures.

Step by step

Create New Schedule: When creating a new load schedule, select the “Sequential” type. Give the schedule a name (identifier) and then choose the structure that must be loaded first for the sequential load to take place.

Schedule settings: After defining the dependency, configure the rest of the load schedule parameters. This includes

  • Load Type: Choose the type of data load that will be performed (Total, Incremental*, Georeferences).
  • *Data adjustments: Make the necessary adjustments to the data to be loaded (incremental type only).
  • Finalization: Review the settings, adjust alerts and finalize the schedule.
