This functionality aims to create the option for the filter to show all dimensions EXCEPT the one that the user defines, that is, with some restriction. This option allows customizing which members will be shown when the user accesses the filter. This can be used with better performance in maps, because without the option the user needs to create another analytic structure using a WHERE statement.
By checking the "Restrict Members" checkbox, the "Members" section will appear on the screen with the following radiobutton options, as shown in the image below:
* Show only selected members;
By selecting this option, the filter with the members you have selected will appear on the screen. For example, select the checkbox "Last ninety days" and click on the "Apply" button. Only the filter applied for the last 90 days will appear on the screen;
* Hide only the selected members;
When you select this option, the filter will appear on the screen with the exception of the member you selected, i.e. all other members. For example, select the checkbox "Last ninety days" and click on the "Apply" button. The applied filter will be displayed on the screen, consisting of all the periods, except, the one you selected, i.e., "Last ninety days", this will not be displayed.
Note: In the examples above, the period filter was used, however, it can be used with any other, be it representative, state, region, etc.
