When printing a dashboard with containers, the background color makes the printout look bad. So to improve the view of the dashboard with container and background color on your printout, when exporting to PDF there can be no background color on a dashboard.
Therefore the container background color has been removed only to export the dashboard to pdf, as shown in the image below:
