New Extension: IP/Geolocation Restriction
A new extension has been launched on the BIMachine platform: IP/Geolocation Restriction. With this extension, you can create customized rules to control access to your project, defining which IP addresses or specific geographic regions can be used to access the platform. The settings can be applied per user, and you can also create exceptions within the rules for greater flexibility in control. Remember that the restrictions do not apply to the Master user.
Partitioning data in structures
Partitioning data in structures is a feature that exclusively improves storage and processing performance in BIMachine, without impacting the way analyses are created or data is displayed. It divides the data in the database based on a time field, allowing for faster and more efficient queries. The choice of partitioning level (week, month or year) should take into account the granularity and volume of the data, balancing organization and performance.
