What can you do with Calculated Columns?
Check out the available calculations and how each one can help you extract more value from your analysis:
- Cumulative: Each row adds up the current value with all the previous ones, always respecting the order defined by the user. Ideal for monitoring the progressive growth of values.
- % Share of Total: Calculates the percentage share of the current row in relation to the total sum of the rows. Excellent for identifying the contribution of each element to the whole.
- % Cumulative Share of Total: Sums the values accumulated up to the current row and calculates their percentage share of the total. A powerful way of understanding the cumulative contribution.
- Ascending Ranking: Numbers the rows in ascending order according to the order defined by the user, allowing you to highlight the lowest values or the top ones.
- Descending Ranking: Numbers the rows in descending order according to the order defined by the user, ideal for viewing the highest values or leaders in a ranking.
How does it work?
To use Calculated Columns, simply give it a name, select the desired calculation and define the reference column. This column can be any measure you have selected in the Big Table. You still have the standard column settings, as well as styling options. This gives you total control to create personalized and dynamic analyses in line with your objectives.
