With the Publisher extension, you can publish your analytical objects in external environments with security authentication. Learn more about the extension and how to activate it by clicking here.
Publishing
Publications have different ways and modes of sharing. Let’s first look at the sharing modes. There are three publishing modes: private, public and Full*. Below we will explain the difference between them:
Private
Private mode requires authentication to view information from BIMachine.

Public
Public mode does not require authentication to view information from BIMachine.

Important:
In public mode, because there is no authentication, you can only view the data in a more static way and cannot use all the features that BI has to offer. For example: you cannot apply filters to objects, and in interactive charts you can only see the first level of analysis.
Full
Publisher Full is an independent extension (it does not require the Publisher extension) and allows you to publish your analytical objects so that users can interact with filters, icons, and charts without having to use BIMachine directly, using and consuming requests.
To learn more about the Publisher Full extension, click aqui.
To create a Full publication, select the “Full” tab and activate it. You can create multiple publications with different sets of filters for the same object.
Each published object will consume one request.

Now let’s look at the ways to publish:
Publishing from the top menu
Go to “Publications” and click “Create.”

Select the analytical object and click “Save.”

By object
Go to the analytical object you want to publish and click the “Publisher” icon.

Choose the sharing mode you want and save.

By Cockpit
Go to “Analytical Object Creation” and click on “Create Cockpit.”

Click on the three vertical dots on the cockpit you want and then on “Embed.”

Choose the sharing mode you want and save.

That’s it! Now you can publish your content.
